PARK Winter tidy up October 2025
‘A working party of 15 volunteers gathered in the park to carry out a number of maintenance jobs. Hedging, pruning trees and shrubs and painting the tables and benches. Although we stayed for a couple of hours, unsurprisingly we didn’t get through all the jobs. So, another working party will need to be rounded up. A huge thank you to all the volunteers who enthusiastically gave their time and shared an impressive array of tools which enabled us to carry out the work’

 

Bulb planting and gardening

It was a lovely sunny morning on Tuesday the 26th November 2024 when the 500 bulbs provided by East Suffolk Coastal were planted by the volunteers. Some gardening was also done to hedges and the grass round the boules courts. Click thumbnails to enlarge.
